On the critical analysis essay, I wrote about the factors that make a student drop out and how that affects society. In that essay, I had to pick a side and persuade my audience, in order for me to do that I had to back up my reasons with evidence. I had to get all that evidence from academical sources. The sources that are considered academical are the ones from newspapers journals and any other source that is government-related.
This essay, in particular, has been really laborious for me to write since I had to write it according to the research that I have been doing and I had to find evidence that supports the reasons that I concluded. The strategies that helped me to find my sources was to look up videos that address the dropping out problem and then check on their references.
In this essay, my peer review help me in many ways because my peers helped me to see that my thesis was really confusing for them to understand. The reason why my thesis was difficult for my peers to understand was that it was too long and not really clear. After my peers helped me to notice that I had to rewrite it in a much simpler way that the audience could understand.
The organization on this essay was the key for my audience to follow along with me. The way on how I organize the structure of my essay was by writing the three body paragraphs the same way they appear on my introduction. I also had to organize the way I wrote the information on my body paragraphs before I wrote my evidence down I had to introduce it so the audience could understand why that evidence was important for my essay.
